U.S. Bombing Aiding Islamic State Recruitment and Assad Forces

October 1st, 2014

Interview with Yaseer Munif who teaches at Emerson College in Boston and is active with the Global Campaign for Solidarity with the Syrian Revolution.  We talk about the effects of the U.S. bombing, claims that revolutionary forces have disappeared, suggestions that the Assad government has reformed, the poison gas attack of August 2014 and suggestions for what democratic and Left forces should be doing to help Syrians.  He also mentions a terrible consequence of the (mistaken?) U.S. attack on grain silos.   (note, Skype would "hesitate" from time to time, but the interview is still well worth listening to)
